Rudi-Roo, Laird of the Morning

"Thank you for making this Rooster image for me as a gift for my boss.  She LOVED it and so do I.  A unique and beautiful gift!"  J.J.

A lovely gal commissioned this rooster image for a lucky boss, thank you! A happy outcome.  Was great fun to do if a little intense using such small leaves. Found one leaf with those great stone colors for the wall. The variety of nature never fails to amaze and delight me. Used spirea and azalea leaves for the birds. Tetterwort/Celandine (green lobed leaves below chickens).

There is meaning to most of my titles. My fathers name was Rudy, thanks Dad, Roo is short for rooster, of course. Laird is Scottish for Lord and we all know roosters crow in the morning. I had been watching the film version of Diana Gabildon's book, The Outlander set in Scotland! Now all makes sense, eh???

Also used Iris, Coltsfoot, Maple, Hibiscus.

As leaves are biodegradable and will fade and deteriorate quickly, original Art is scanned immediately after creation, preserving their beauty long after originals are gone.   Enjoy!
