People have been very helpful in suggesting topics for future Leaf Art images. And dragonflies came up one day because many people rightfully love dragonfly images. They are magical creatures and as I discovered, come in a surprising array of brilliant colors! I like to keep some realism when possible. This "fly" is close in color to a real bug! The color was achieved using Photoshop.  The dragon’s tail is Goat’s Beard.
 
I just love Forget-me-nots and the Creeping Speedwell flowers that grow in my yard every spring. The dark blue flower is lobelia. Two kinds of coleus along the bottom. I kept picking up the maple twirly gig seed pods, thinking they made perfect "wings". 
 
As leaves are biodegradable and will fade and deteriorate quickly, original Art is scanned immediately after creation, preserving their beauty long after originals are gone.   Enjoy!
