There are two major New York City reservoirs within a half hour of my home. Both are stunningly beautiful and examples of great feats of engineering. I am grateful for the clean water we have here even though restrictions are put upon us. The brooks and streams to not have the wildlife as when I was a kid but considering the state of water around the world I count myself lucky to be living here. It's also interesting to note that NO WHERE ELSE in the world is there a water project like this one. It is totally unique and successful.
